PURPOSE: A wet-type desulfurization method where blast furnace slag containing available constituents for desulfurization is used as a desulfurizer is provided. CONSTITUTION: The wet-type desulfurization method using blast furnace slag comprises the processes of crushing blast furnace slag comprising CaO 40wt.% or more, MgO 6wt.% or more, Fe2O3 8wt.% or more, FeO 12wt.% or more; sieving the crushed slag with a sieve of 200 mesh; preparing slag slurry of which pH is 11 or higher; and then contacting the slag slurry with flue gas containing SOx.
