PURPOSE: A recognizing device for the replacement time of a clutch disc is provided to properly replace the clutch disc by informing a driver of the abrasion of the clutch disc. CONSTITUTION: Once a driver steps on a clutch pedal, a release cylinder(16) is operated to rotate a release fork shaft(20) and a shift fork(22) is contacted with a release lever(10) to push a release bearing(24). Then, the release lever moves a pressure plate(8) forward or backward and a clutch disc(12) transmits or intercepts power to a fly wheel. A protrusion(26) is formed in a rod(18) of the release cylinder and a switch(28) is selectively contacted with the protrusion. The switch is electrically connected with an alarm lamp(30). In case of the abrasion of the clutch disc, the pressure plate moves forward a lot and the rod is moved backward longer than before. Then, the protrusion of the rod is contacted with the switch to light the alarm lamp and a driver is informed of the replacement time of the clutch disc.
