CONTROL DEVICE OF GAS EQUIPMENT AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A gas appliance control device and a method thereof are provided to reduce gas leakage in extinguishing a burner abnormally. CONSTITUTION: A gas appliance control apparatus comprises a thermocouple(12) installed near a burner to generate electromotive force corresponding to calorific value of the burner; a safety valve(1) supplying and shutting off gas to the burner; and a control unit opening the safety valve in case of electromotive force of the thermocouple to be over the ignition reference value, and closing the safety valve in case of the electromotive force of the thermocouple to be below the extinguishing reference value more than the ignition reference value. The gas appliance controller prevents gas from being leaked in extinguishing the burner at abnormal state.
