Gas-phase production of formaldehyde by direct oxidation of methane uses an improved vanadium-promoted mesoporous silicon dioxide catalyst to increase the space-time yield
摘要
Gas-phase production of formaldehyde from methane is effected by reacting methane and oxygen at CH4:O2 ratio 12.5-5 at 580-680 deg C, 100-300 kpa and 90000-300000 l/kgcat using a mesoporous SiO2 catalyst having specific surface area SBET above 500 m<2>/g and promoted with a highly-dispersed oxidic species of 4- or 5-valent vanadium.
