The invention relates to the measuring engineering and may be utilized for remote measurement of the electric, power consumption and for monitoring the electricity meter operation to the consumer. The device contains a body, into which there are placed an induction measuring system with rotation disk, a disk rotation speed-to-electric signal converter, a current transducer connected in the circuit break of the neutral conductor, an electric signal comparator unit and connecting terminals placed on the body. The device is supplementary provided with a body break-down transducer and a pattern signal conditioner, installed into the body, the disk rotation speed-to-electric signal converter is made in the form of a ray emitter and a ray photodetector and on the rotation disk there are executed alternating sectors with different ray reflecting and absorbent angles. The result consists in the possibility of detecting the body meter break-down fact, remote monitoring of the electricity meter operation and serving with a single device for monitoring the meter operation a series of electricity meters.
