A friction clutch comprises a pressing lever arrangement (30) with a thinned region (40) between its mounting (32) and a pressing lever (38). A friction clutch comprises primary and secondary sides (12, 14; 24) with entrained friction faces (18, 22), a pressure plate (20) rotating with the primary side (12, 14) and a pressing lever arrangement (30) fitted on and rotating with the primary side, the pressing lever arrangement (30) having a pivoted pressing lever (38) with a first region (42), for acting on the pressure plate (20), and a second lever region (46). A pressing force generating arrangement can act on the pressing lever (38) to produce counter friction application of the friction faces (18, 20) acting on the pressure plate (20). The novelty is that the pressing lever arrangement (30) has a reduced thickness region (40) between a region (32), mounted on the primary side (12, 14), and the pressing lever (38). An Independent claim is also included for a pressing lever arrangement for the above friction clutch. |
