The inventive LED low energy lamp system is characterized in that it has at least two LED's which serve as a luminous element. In addition, the inventive LED low energy lamp system will replace widely-used lamps such as general-purpose lamps, fluorescent lamps, discharge lamps, indicator and signal lamps, vehicle lights, halogen lamps, studio and projection lamps due to the use of prior art common screw caps or plug-in caps and to the high economic efficiency, to the extremely long serviceable life of the LED's, to the aspect of being almost completely maintenance free, and to the generation of a non-glare directable light with a luminosity factor equivalent to that of the filament lamp. The LED low energy lamp system can be configured as a one-part system or as a two-part system, whereby the one-part system can be inseparably comprised of a common screw cap or plug-in cap, of a ballast and of a respectively used LED support body, and the two-part system can be comprised of an adapter having an integrated ballast, a common screw cap and plug-in cap, as well as LED support bodies which can be plugged in separately, whereby the ballast can be externally attached in both systems. High intensity LED's can also be used as LED's. The shape of the LED support body can correspond to commonly known lamps and can correspond to the shape of geometric bodies such as a cylinder, cube, sphere, parallelepiped, cone, truncated cone, pyramid, etc. The shape of the LED support body corresponds to the desired shape of the lamp. The electronic ballast can be made from known microelectronic components such as SMD components, and from microcomputers comprising very high scale integration technology. |
