DIFFUSER FOR A WIND TURBINE

A Diffuser Augmented Wind Turbine has a nacelle (15) centrally supporting two or more rotor blades (not shown), the rotor blades being surrounded by a primary diffuser section (10) of substantially aerofoil shape when viewed in section and a much thinner aerofoil-like secondary diffuser (11) extending rearwardly from the trailing edge of the primary diffuser, wherein one or more slots (13) are arranged circumferentially around the diffuser assembly (10, 11) allowing the injection of air from the exterior surface into interior surface of the diffuser assembly (10, 11), the slots (13) further differentiating the primary and secondary diffuser sections (10, 11).
