<p>A personalized shopping system (100) is provided, configured to generate e-commerce recommendations for products and/or services via the Internet, based on either an automated, semi-automated, or manual selection process, so that individuals can search, view, and purchase products and services that are distinctly tailored to their individual tastes and preferences. The method of providing the personalized e-commerce recommendations comprises the steps of generating a database (108) having a plurality of products, wherein each of the products are associated with at least one preference criteria from a plurality of preferences criteria. Thereafter, information associated with a user profile is stored for at least one user based on a selection of preferences by the user from the plurality of preferences criteria. The personalized shopping system (100) then provides product recommendations to the at least one user corresponding to the created profile.</p> |
