The box-shaped piece of furniture has support strips (1,2) on each side wall (3) at the front and back. The support strips are inserted vertically into the inside of a side wall, and have spaced apart recesses (1a,2a) for taking horizontal pins for fixing spacer-strips (4) on which guide rails (5) are fixed for drawers and such pull-out devices. The spacer strips extend from the front to the back support strip and has a holder-groove (4a) open at the bottom and into which fits the upward-pointing arm (5c) of the guide rail.
