A multiple communication system comprises a plurality of communication networks, including mobile communication networks, in which the communication networks are interconnected by exchanges and terminals including mobile units belonging to different communication networks are interconnected by their respective exchanges inthe corresponding networks. The multiple communication system includes terminals that transmit a particular code specifying a mobile communication network to which a called mobile unit belongs, and exchanges that make connection to the mobile unit corresponding to the particular code received from the terminal.
