Packs of playing cards described in which backs are not all identical, but rather can be different, but sets of backs can be coordinated with one another and that coordination can in turn match, in accordance with appropriate rules, coordination of the faces of the cards. For example, a run of point values of the same suit on the faces of the cards can correlate with a run of sections of a poem or image printed across the backs of several cards. A very wide variety of new, entertaining and educational card games can thus be constructed.
