A test device for busbars having resinous sheaths with top, bottom and central electric semi-conductive layers, comprises of a test vessel (PGF) filled with an insulating medium (IME) and having a tubular housing located at the bottom with a floor plate (BPL) and a metal locating sheet (ABL). The floor plate (BPL) is releasably joined to a cylindrical support-part (STT) for mounting of a bottom bell-cap (SGu) for run-back of the bottom semi-conductive layer of the resinous sheath The locating metal sheet (ABL) is releasably joined to a top and a bottom earthing bell-cap (EGo,EGu) for running back the central semi-conductive layer (LSm), with a top bell-cap (SGo) used for running back the top semi-conductive layer (LSo) of the resinous sheath.
