Control of color deposition in a printing machine has color measured and compared with reference to control components

A decorative pattern in color is available as a reference and this is camera sampled. The color at any point is based upon three color components and these are defined in look up tables that relate to position. A comparison between measured and reference values is used to control the color printing process.
