A docking station (100) includes a platform (110), a motion control mechanism (120), a power source (130), a mount (140), a signal interface (150), and a platform signal routing system (160). The power source (130) powers the motion control mechanism (120) to move the platform (110). The mount (140) allows attaching a perifpheral device to the platform (110) with a network. The signal interface (150) interfaces the platform (110). The platform signal routing system (160) routes signals from the signal interface (150) to the motion control mechanism (120).
