The present invention relates to a balm named "Graal" used as a pharmaceutical agent for treating the cardio-vascular system as well as blood diseases, wherein said agent can also be used as a prophylactic preparation for normalising the activities of the immune, endocrine and nervous systems. This invention essentially involves using a known food additive, i.e. balsam Graal, according to a dosage of 0.1 to 1.0 ml/kg of the person's weight 2 to 3 times a day, wherein the administration takes place 15 to 20 minutes before food intake in the case of cardio-vascular disorders and during the 30 to 40 minutes following food intake in the case of hepatic diseases. The treatment duration ranges from 2 to 4 weeks.
