<p>The block and the method for its preparation are used in particular for the construction of man-made reefs enabling the increase of the population of bottom and pelagic fish and sea organisms and for obstructing trawl-fishing of rapan snails and plaice. The block has internal hollow cavities which ensure free flowing and lighting and the method is simplified. The block is made of a frame (1) with supporting reinforcement (4) ending by lugs (3) or rods (6) at its upper end. In the lower part of the frame there is a recess (5) in the form of a truncated pyramid, and in its interior a cavity (2) of arbitrary form is produced. By the method foam plastic of arbitrary form is poured with concrete and after the hardening of the concrete and the removal of the formwork the product is treated by organic solvent. 2 claims, 3 figures</p> |
