The valve has a valve housing (10) provided with a housing bore (13) with 2 axially spaced valve seats (31,33) and a load connection (14), a pressure connection (15) and a hydraulic tank connection (16), controlled by a closure element (45), spriing biased in the direction of one valve seat and displaced in the direction of the other valve seat by an electromagnet (18). This has a pole sleeve (20) coontaining a magnetic armature (21) and a reception space (60) communicating with the end of the housing bore, containing a guide sleeve (63) for the transmission rod (65) between the electromagnet and the closure element.
