<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the production of a liquid crystal display device by which cut lines can be repaired without increasing the number of processes. SOLUTION: In the production of a liquid crystal display device in which thin film transistor elements are arranged in a matrix state and gate wirings 2 and drain wirings 4 are formed in lines and columns, respectively, a through hole 8 to connect the discontinue position 7 on the line of the drain wiring 4 is formed simultaneously when a contact hole 10 to connect the source electrode 11 of the thin film transistor element and a pixel electrode 9 is formed. Moreover, when the pixel electrode 9 is formed, a connecting part 6 is formed to connect the discontinuity position 7 in the drain wiring 4 through the through hole 8.</p> |
