PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of irregular deformation in a weather strip along a waist line part of an automobile. SOLUTION: This weather strip 4, locking a door trim 8 along an upper end edge of a door inner panel 2 by a clip 6 mounted in a lower end of a mounting base part 40 to cover the upper end edge of the door inner panel 2 with a fin part 42 formed in an upper end of the mounting base part 40 so as to conceal a chip inserting cutout 81 in the upper end of the door trim 8, has a structure formed with an end edge 423 of thickness larger than a tip end 422 along the tip end 422 of the fin part 42 to increase rigidity to prevent rolling in the cutout 81 with the deformation of the end edge 423, when the fin part 42 is pressed by an elbow and hand of an occupant. |
