PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying and confirming a person combining high level confirmation security, high level convenience, and general adaptability to the present technique facility. SOLUTION: This is a method for identifying and confirming a person who is operating a keyboard connected with an electronic data processor, a signal processor, or a smart card or the like by comparing an already inputted reference pattern with a confirmation pattern to be inputted. A signal in a limited range constituted of a series of key strokes with prescribed strength and/or a series of key strokes following a prescribed rhythm and/or at least one of key strokes or the overlap of two or more key strokes is inputted as the reference pattern. |
