PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore system information when any failure is generated in system information stored in a non-volatile RAM (NVRAM). SOLUTION: An information processor 10 is provided with a CPU 11, NVRAM 12 for storing system information necessary for the operation of the information processor 10, and a BIOS(basic input/output system) ROM 14 for storing a BIOS. The BIOS ROM 14 capable of writing is provided with a set-up program 142 for changing the system information stored in the NVRAM 12, a set value 143 at factory shipping time being the initial value of the system information, and a user set value 144 being the system information copied from the NVRAM 12 to the BIOS ROM 14. The saving of the system information from the NVRAM 12 to the BISO ROM 14 or the restoration of the user set value 144 from the BIOS ROM 14 to the NVRAM 12 is operated by a prescribed inputting operation through an inputting device 16. |
