PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method of an electronic component mounting system which can dissolve troubles generated in the electronic component mounting system in a short time, by performing effective maintenance corresponding to the generating situation of the trouble by remote control, without depending on visit of a manufacturer's service engineer. SOLUTION: Various kinds of information during the operation of an electronic component mounting system is stored, while being recorded as a log file 33. When a trouble occurs, by transmitting a command by operation of a terminal personal computer 30 at a remote place to a controller 32 of the electronic component mounting system via a communication line 29, the controller 32 leads out the commanded log file 33 and transfers it to the terminal personal computer 30. The information obtained as a result of study of the cause of generation of trouble is transferred from the terminal personal computer 30 to the controller 32 via the communication line 29, and the operating state of the electronic component mounting system is changed. |
