PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing bean jam by affording it with medicinal effect using aloe or xylitol to prevent water from oozing therefrom, lengthen its palate feeling just after produced, prevent the water therein from migrating into other food materials being in contact therewith, lengthen its palatable period, and prevent red beans as raw material from browning deterioration as well. SOLUTION: This method for producing bean jam comprises incorporating bean jam, during the production process, with xylitol in the form of a simple substance or combination as an extract from aloe as a medicinal herb an/or other herbal extract tree(s). The bean jam thus obtained can be used in toothpaste as well as has medicinal effect and prevents dental caries, and helps reduce the offensive odor of excreta from humans, dogs, cats and pigs and the like and prevent odor nuisance as well. |
