PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an electrical connector on a circuit board for strengthening its mounting on the circuit board. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure, contacts 25 are implanted in a housing 21 made of an insulating material, an outer plate member 22 made by stamping and bending a metal plate is fastened to at least a part of an outer surface of the housing 21 of an electrical connector mounted on a circuit board, and leg parts 33, 34, 35 for fixing the connector to the circuit board or grounding are provided extendedly from the outer plate member. The leg parts include an insertion leg part 34 to be inserted into a mounting hole formed in the circuit board and a surface contacting leg part 35 extending in a direction normal to the extending direction of the insertion leg part 34 and coming into contact with an upper surface of the circuit board. |
