PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make uniform abrasion of a spacing shaft during an aging test. SOLUTION: A print head 1 is reciprocated while shifting the start position by a specified distanceα(α=0.21 mm) at a time from a left limit position Lmax toward a right limit position Rmax wherein S=Smax/2 (Smax: maximum spacing distance). When the print head 1 reaches the Rmax by repeating the reciprocal operation, the stop position is reset to return the print head 1 from the Rmax to the Lmax before resuming reciprocal operation from the Lmax to the Rmax. The operation is repeated for several tens of hour.
