PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a cause, even if temperature abnormality at using is a fault cause by storing the calculated temperature measuring value of a temperature measuring value with a temperature detection signal surrounding the object of a temperature control object. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 26 detecting a temperature is arranged near a magneto-optical disk 11 in a magneto-optical disk drive 10. CPU 31 is connected to a bus line 35 via an A/D converter 37, and a detection signal is transmitted to CPU 31 from the temperature sensor 26. When CPU 31 executes a temperature measuring program, which was previously stored in ROM 32, it calculates the temperature measuring value surrounding the magneto- optical disk 11 based on the detection signal from the temperature sensor 26. A drive control part 21 and a signal processing part 22 are connected to the micro computer 30 for controlling a device as a whole and they are controlled. A microcomputer 30 is provided with a timer 34 for measuring time lapse is provided with CPU 31 for executing the program, processing data and transmitting/receiving data to/from various devices, and a storage means for storing the program and data.
