PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple data table selection arithmetic device in which a circuit scale can be reduced, and high speed operation can be realized. SOLUTION: This device is composed of selecting circuit parts 200, 201, and 202 for approximating a functional formula to a monotonously increasing data table, and for selecting a data table line from the increasing or decreasing input value of the line, comparative circuit parts 300-302, 310, 320, and 330 for comparing the input data table values with values stored in the data table, and an output circuit part 400 for converting a value outputted from a combined circuit, which detects a changed point of 0 and 1 using the compared values outputted from the comparative circuit parts, into the value of the data table column. All the circuits, therefore, can be constituted without using any adder/ subtractor or multiplier/divider. Thus, the circuit scale can be reduced, and high speed operation can be attained.
