PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work attachment efficiently allowing an excavation and chipping work near a ceiling face in the underground work. SOLUTION: This work attachment is provided with a boom 55 pivotally fitted to a machine body rockably in the vertical direction, an arm 56 pivotally fitted to the boom 55 rockably in the longitudinal direction, a work tool pivotally fitted to the arm 56 rockably in the longitudinal direction, a boom cylinder 58 rocking the boom 55 against the machine body, an arm cylinder 59 rocking the arm 56 against the boom 55, and a bucket cylinder 60 rocking the work tool against the arm 56. The arm cylinder 59 is connected to the belly face of the boom 55 and to the vicinity of the belly face base end of the arm 56, and the bucket cylinder 60 is connected to the tip than the arm cylinder connection section on the belly face of the arm 56 and the lower side fitting section of the work tool.
