PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and securely form a road sign line of superior slip-resistant effect and durability in the uniform thickness on a recessed and projected road surface by storing a non-slip coating material in a hopper with a discharge outlet on its lower section, agitating the non-slip coating material in the hopper, jetting the material on a road surface and coating the road sign with the material. SOLUTION: A hopper 1 is mounted above a stand of a hand coating machine and a discharge outlet 1a is formed on the lower section of the hopper, and an agitating mechanism 2 with a plurality of blade members 2b are fixed radially on a rotating shaft 2a is provided inside. On the other hand, a jet mechanism 3 for jetting a non-slip coating material almost vertically to a road surface GL is provided below the discharge outlet 1a. The non-slip coating material agitated by the agitating mechanism 2 in the hopper 1 is introduced between a wire brush roll 3a and a metal spline roll 3b of the jet mechanism 3 after transferring an aggregating to the discharge outlet 1 stably and uniformly without being scattered. A rod sign coating 4 of uniform coating thickness is applied by the arrangement.
