<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof pipe jacking method and a pipe joint capable of being used for a jacking method and inserting a pipe and a joint with a sufficient amount of expansion and contraction secured regardless of the size of the diameters of openings, which is the greatest requirement as an earthquake-proof pipe joint. SOLUTION: A collar 3 for transmitting a propulsive force is sandwiched between a pressurizing flange 12 externally provided for the insertion opening 1 of a pipe 10A and the side face 22 of the acceptor 2 of the other pipe 10B provided with external facing concrete 6 so as to be of the approximately same diameter to transmit a propulsive force from a preceding pipe to a following pipe via the collar 3 to be pressed to a predetermined location. The collar 3 is statically crushed by swelling pressure generated by its own hydration after the propulsion, and a circular void to enable the crushed pieces to drop onto void space provided in the periphery of a joint part, to be housed, and to enable the expansion and contraction of the axis of the pipes along both directions is formed.</p> |
