PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive heat exchanger in which the number of components is decreased. SOLUTION: An inner tube 2b is disposed in a container 25 and inner and outer refrigerant coils 31, 32 are arranged between the outer circumferential surface of the inner tube 26 and the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube 21 of the container 25. The inner and outer refrigerant coils 31, 32 are coupled, at the ends thereof, through a single U bend 35 to form a double refrigerant coil 36. A through hole 41 communicating between the inside and outside of the inner tube 26 is made through the inner tube 26. The outer tube 21 of the container 25 is provided with an oil inlet 51 and an end plate 22 is provided with an oil outlet 52 communicating with the inside of the inner tube 26.
