PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable cooling performance in a refrigerator in which a condenser is forcedly cooled with a cooling fan. SOLUTION: Upon passing through a demountable filter 11 provided frontally of a suction inlet 5 in a machine chamber 4 and having a plurality of vent holes cooling air by a forced ventilation action of a cooling fan, dust is caught by an internal periphery end surface of the vent holes. When the plurality of the vent holes are clogged with dust, the dust is removed by a hand of a user by removing the filter 11, and hence no dust is deposited on the condenser to ensure stable cooling performance without causing any heat dissipation problem.
