PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated ice making machine capable of restricting production of ice debris upon building-up of a freezing circuit. SOLUTION: When a power supply is turned on at time t1 and operation of an automated ice making machine is started, a control circuit starts the operation of a compressor at time t2, and flows a refrigerant from a changeover valve to a water tank to cool drink water, etc., and further starts a geared motor for rotating an auger at time t3 after the elapse of a predetermined time. Thereafter the control unit judges that operation of the compressor is satisfactorily stabilized at a time t4, and switches the changeover valve to the side of a cooling pipe for starting of ice making operation.
