PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating element having good yield of electrode materials and useful for improvement of bonding strength between an electrode group and a collector terminal and enhancement of discharging capacity. SOLUTION: This power generating element has an electrode group 4 in which a positive electrode 1 and negative electrode 2 are wound via separator 3, a positive collector terminal 5 connected to the positive electrode 1 at the end of the electrode group 4 in the width direction, and a negative collector terminal 6 connected to a negative electrode 2 at the end of the electrode group 4 in the width direction. In this case, the positive electrode 1 and the positive collector terminal 5 are connected in a condition where conductive intermediary members 7 which connects the positive electrodes 1 keeping almost constant intervals between opposing surfaces of the positive electrodes 1 abutting at one end of the electrode group 4 in the width direction are placed between the opposing surfaces. |
