PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for an ink-jet recording apparatus capable of jointing an adhesion seal part of an ink-jet recording head with the excellent sealing property and a high linearity. SOLUTION: At the time of adhesion sealing of a recording head main body 11 and an auxiliary plate 12 by an adhesion seal member 13, a nozzle side gel 100a made from a polyethylene soft gel of a hardness Asker C-4 deg. is pressured against the nozzle opening surface 114. At the time of adhesion sealing of the recording head main body 11 and a holder 2 by an adhesion seal member 23, a supply path side gel 100b made from the same gel is pressured against the supply path opening surface 115. According to the pressure by the gels 100a and 100b, even if an adhesion seal member with the excellent adhesion sealing property and a low viscosity is used, entrance of the adhesion seal member into a nozzle 1113 or an ink supply path 1111 can be prevented.
