PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding tool capable of forming a highly precise spline ball groove in a workpiece and preventing breakage of a grinding wheel. SOLUTION: This grinding tool 1 is provided with a tool main body 2, a support shaft 3, rolling bearings 4, a lubricant supply means 5, a grinding wheel holder 6, and a grinding wheel 7. The tool main body 2 supports the support shaft 3. The rolling bearings 4 are provided apart from each other in a pair. The rolling bearings 4 are provided with an outer ring, an inner ring, and a ball, respectively, and the inner ring is fitted in the support shaft 3. The lubricant supply means 5 supplies lubricant into the rolling bearings 4. The grinding wheel holder 6 is formed like a circular pipe and is fitted in the outer ring of the rolling bearing 4. The grinding wheel holder 6 is rotatably supported on the support shaft 3 by the rolling bearings 4. A rough face part 52 is formed on an outer peripheral face 51 of the grinding wheel holder 6. The grinding wheel 7 is formed like a circular ring, and its inner peripheral face 53 is bonded and fixed on the rough face part 52.
