PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently take off the stiffness of a person's tensed muscle fiber by massaging by providing a sliding guide fixed to a body support means for supporting the body of a bathing person and a push ball having a projection at the tip, which is adapted to slide a sliding track of the sliding guide to come into contact with the body and driving the push ball by a drive means. SOLUTION: In use, first a bathing person enters a bath tub 19 to tilt his back to a body support means 21, and a control device 28 is operated to actuate a massage device. Whereupon, the control device 28 drives an air pump 27 to supply air to an air pipe 25 connected to each driving valve 26. Secondly, when to operate an air driving bellows 24, the control device 28 rotates a valve element of each driving valve 26 to supply air to the air driving bellows 24, the air driving bellows 24 is elongated by the air pressure so that the push ball 23 is slid in the sliding track of a sliding guide 22. A region to be massged of the back of the bathing person, on which the push ball 23 abuts, is pressed by sliding of the push ball 23 and subjected to massage action.
