PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer image receiving medium for an ink jet printer having excellent sheet feedability and blocking preventiveness without impairing heat sealability and transparency. SOLUTION: The transfer image receiving medium for an ink jet printer comprises a support layer 1, a release layer 2, an ultraviolet cutting layer 3 and an image receptive layer 4 sequentially laminated. The layer 4 is obtained by adding a thermoplastic resin beads each having a mean particle size of 10 to 150 μm melted or softened at a transfer temperature to a thermoplastic matrix resin having heat sealability. The beads are made of a urethane resin having a melting point of 90 to 120 deg.C, and the beads 5 having a mean particle size of 10 to 150 μm are preferable. |
