<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately start an application by which a computer can process data inputted from a portable telephone by informing the computer of a factor of a wake-up. SOLUTION: When a PC is in the suspended state and incoming information from a digital telephone is transmitted to a portable telephone termination module, a wake-up control part 15 compares the incoming information with factor data on a wake-up set in a register 13. When the both match each other, the PC is informed of the state change and at the same time, data following the matching input data are stored in a buffer 14. The PC in the suspended state is waked up and starts the OS. The OS informs a device driver of the wake-up. The device driver reads the data out of the buffer 14 of the portable telephone communication module, sends a message corresponding to the factor of the wake-up to an application for communication, and performs operation corresponding to the sent message.</p> |
