PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of battery performance while improving the connecting strength of a lead part by providing a notch between welding parts of a lead part of at least one electrode of a positive electrode and a negative electrode. SOLUTION: A lead part 1a of a positive electrode 1 is formed of an exposed part of an aluminum foil as a collector of the positive electrode 1, and a notch 1b is provided at a nearly central part in the cross direction of the lead part 1c. A positive electrode 5 formed of an aluminum plate as an external terminal is provided with a notch similarly with the lead part 1a of the positive electrode 1. Four positive electrodes 1 of a layered electrode group are placed so that the notches 1b of the lead parts 1a of the positive electrodes 1 are overlapped with the notch of the positive electrode terminal 5, and the four lead parts 1a and the positive electrode terminal 5 are electrically welded to each other for connection. The notch 1b of the lead part 1a and the notch of the positive electrode terminal are positioned between a welding position 1c and a welding position 1d. |
