ICE THERMAL STORAGE/CHILLED WATER GENERATING SYSTEM AND CHILLED WATER GENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate chilled water in various operating patterns at low running cost by combining ice thermal storage with a chiller. SOLUTION: An ice thermal storage/chilled water generator 10 comprises an ice thermal storage tank 12 arranged with a heating tube 15-1 and coupling a chilled water return pipe 16-1 with a chilled water supply pipe 16-2, a water cooler 13 coupled with a heating tube 15-3 and coupling an outer chilled water return pipe 17-1 with an outer chilled water supply pipe 17-2, and a refrigerating machine 11 being used for ice making in the ice thermal storage tank 12 and water cooling in the water cooler 13. Ice making in the ice thermal storage tank 12 is performed simultaneously with water cooling in the water cooler 13 or independently therefrom by operating the refrigerating machine 11 and chilled water is produced through ice melting and water cooling by the water cooler 13.
