PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote carburetion of fuel and improve startability of an internal combustion engine by arranging an intake inlet toward an intake passage of an assist air passage led to a fuel injection valve with an air assist on a downstream side of an intake passage in the vicinity of a fully closing position of an electronic control opening/closing valve. SOLUTION: An intake taking-in port 29 into an intake passage 2 in an assist air passage 28 for supplying assist air to a fuel injection valve, is opened in the vicinity of a downstream side from a throttle valve 3 as an electronic control opening/closing valve. A throttle valve 3 is controlled from a fully closing position shown with two dots chain line just after an internal combustion engine is started to a first opening in which the throttle valve 3 shown with a broken line is slightly opened, and a part of an air intake hole 29 is positioned on an upstream side of the throttle valve 3. As a result, minimum intake flows the air assist passage 28. Accordingly, assist air having an appropriate amount is supplied to the fuel injection valve, atomization of fuel is promoted, and startability of an internal combustion engine is improved.
