PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protective structure which is capable of enhancing the corners of a case in shock resistance, even if the case is thin-walled and making a buffer member provided in the corner protrude less. SOLUTION: Bent pieces 3e and 3f, which form a recess AA in the inner direction of a case 1, are provided in a joint between side plates 3a and 3b at the corner A of the case 1. A buffer member 8 provided with a projection 8c that conforms to the shape of the recess AA is provided in the corner A. The side plates 3a and 3b are lessened in length by bent pieces 3e and 3f, and the corner A can be enhanced in rigidity. The buffer member 8 is high in shock- absorbing properties as prescribed, even if it is not provided with an outer unnecessary projection, because a projection 8c protrudes inside the buffer member 8.
