PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain interference between combustion flames discharged from a plurality of flame holes by forming the flame holes which face with each other with a near portion having a small distance therebetween and a far portion by which the flame holes are rendered to be receded from each other from the near portions. SOLUTION: A burner top 18 is provided with a first flame hole 16 and a second flame hole 17 whose apexes that pass a center line C are located so as to face with each other. A distance L between the first flame hole 16 and the second flame hole 17 is the shortest between the apexes and becomes gradually longer toward both of the side edges. Although the distance L is short at the central portion, it is long at the side edge portions, and therefore the degree of interference between the combustion flames can be made considerably low. Thus the surface temperature of the first flame hole 16 and the second flame hole 17 can be restrained from being unduely raised. As a result, stable combustion flames are obtained, being free from a backfire phenomenon.
