PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the total heating amount for a cooked object from becoming excessive and insufficient. SOLUTION: A high-frequency output control means 42 which controls the actuation of a high-frequency generating means 5 in the unit of a prescribed control period and the high-frequency outputting level of the means 5 by changing the turning-on time of the means 5 compares the duration of actuation of the means 5 until a target output level is changed in the control period at the changing time when the target output level instructed from a target output instructing means 41 is changed during the turned-on time with the turned-on time corresponding to the changed target output level. When the actuating duration is shorter than the turned-on time, the control means 42 stops the actuation of the means 5 after waiting until the duration of actuation of the means 5 reached the turned-on time in the control period at the changing time and, when the time obtained by subtracting the turned-on time from the control period elapses after stoppage, starts to control the output level of the means 5 in accordance with the changed target output level.
