PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive end mill integrally formed with a shank capable of jointing a shank of the main body of the end mill to a tapered bore of a holder with heating lower than a shrinkage fitting temperature. SOLUTION: An end mill holder 1 in which a tapered face 3h gently tapering backward is open to a front end of a holder 3 is provided in front of the holder 3, a cutting method 6 is provided in a front part 5b of a main body 5, a shank 5a in which an outer circumference of the shank 5a is gently tapering backward is provided in a back side of the main body 5, and an end mill 2 in which a back end face 5c in the front part 5b of the main body 5 is perpendicularly projected to the outer circumference of a front end of the shank 5a is provided. With a heat lower than a shrinkage fitting temperature, the shank 5a of the main body 5 is forcibly fitted into a tapered bore 3h in the holder 3 to bring the back end face 5c of the main body 5 into contact with the front end of the holder 3 and bond the main body 5 of the end mill 2 to the holder 3.
