摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse parts even when defective products are produced in a laminating process during production by bonding a transparent supporting body and an optical anisotropic layer with specified or higher peeling strength. SOLUTION: The transmission type liquid crystal display device consists of a polarizer 1a, a transparent supporting body 2a of an optical compensation sheet, an optical anisotropic layer 3a of the optical compensation sheet, a lower substrate 4a of a liquid crystal cell, a bar-shaped liquid crystal molecular layer 5, an upper substrate 4b of the liquid crystal cell, an optical anisotropic layer 3b of the optical compensation sheet, a transparent supporting body 2b of the optical compensation sheet, and polarizer 1b in this order from a back light BL side. The peeling strength of the optical compensation sheet is specified to >=400 g/cm, and preferably >=450 g/cm, and further preferably >=500 g/cm. To enhance the peeling strength of the optical compensation sheet, it is preferable to add inorg. fine particles to at least one of the transparent supporting bodies 2a, 2b, alignment film and optical anisotropic layers 3a, 3b.
