<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the calmness by providing a torch electrode capably of roughly horizontal motion so that it may be positioned under a capillary in which to insert a wire, and constituting a torch electrode driving means to drive this torch electrode out of a rotary motor. SOLUTION: A wire 1 is inserted into a capillary 3 through a clamper 2, while a torch electrode 4 is fixed to a torch electrode holding means 6 through insulating material 5 by fixing screw 7. The touch electrode holding member 6 is fixed to an output shaft 9a by the rotary motor consisting of a pulse motor or the like arranged vertically, and the rotary motor 9 is fixed to a bonding head through a motor supporting member 10. Moreover, the torch electrode 4 is connected to a high-voltage power source through a high-voltage cable 8. As a result the stop position of the torch electrode 4 can be controlled freely, and a stopper becomes needless, and this wire bonder can raise calmness.</p> |
