SANDWICH GLASS HAVING HIGH RESISTANCE TO COLLISION TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sandwich glass of a specific type improved in the resistance to a collision test. SOLUTION: At least first sheet 1 and second sheet 2 bonded to each other by an insertion adhesive layer 3 are included. The first sheet 1 protrudes from the second sheet 2. The insertion adhesive layer 3 extends to at least part of the edge of the first sheet 1 and the edge of the insertion adhesive layer 3 constituted in the manner described above is at least partly covered by an intermediate element 4 adherable to the glass or its component element 3 and a vehicle body 5 via glue 6 for mounting. More particularly the sandwich glass is applied as a front windshield of an automobile having the high resistance to the collision test.
